It’s easy to tell our community that Max’s was founded in 1945. But that year, all by itself, doesn’t provide enough context to all the changes to the business and to this incredible area in which we live. Below, we put together some numbers and facts to show just how much has changed at Max’s since our beginnings.

Don’t get us wrong, we love Traverse City. The summers are incredible, fall is simply gorgeous, and spring is magical. Winter, of course, is also an incredible time to be in TC.. until late February or March. It’s this time of year that many Northern Michigan residents head for warmer, and potentially delicious, locales.
President’s Day, which is also George Washington’s birthday, is coming up quickly on Monday, February 21. While few folks decide to celebrate the occasion, )aside from mattress stores, it seems) perhaps cooking enthusiasts have a delicious reason to take the holiday a bit more seriously.
